Fastest way: delete it in the app
If you still have the app installed, the quickest way to delete your account is directly in the app: open Settings → Account Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account and associated data. This confirms your identity on the spot and starts deletion immediately, without waiting on a support request.
No app installed? Request deletion here
If you no longer have the app installed, or prefer not to sign back in, email us and we'll take care of it manually.
Email maelstorm.dev@gmail.comPlease include in your message:
- The email address associated with your Membership Tracker account (or the Google account you signed in with).
- A short statement that you want your account and associated data permanently deleted.
Never include your password, any verification/one-time codes, Google credentials, or payment card details — we do not need any of that to find or delete your account. If we need to confirm you're the account owner, we'll only ask you to reply from the email on file or to verify a code we send to it — never for a password or full financial details.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes, from both the cloud and this device:
- All memberships, categories, payment method labels, visits, and comments.
- Your account profile (name, email, photo) and sign-in methods.
- App settings and preferences tied to your account, including notification schedules and biometric sign-in data.
- Any manually granted Pro status linked to your account.
What isn't affected
- Local device data. We can only delete data stored in our cloud database. If you request deletion by email while the app is still installed, any of your data still cached on that specific device is not wiped remotely — use Settings → Delete local data in the app, or uninstall the app, to clear it from the device itself.
- An active Google Play subscription. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription purchased through Google Play. Cancel it separately in Google Play → Subscriptions to stop future charges — otherwise it will keep renewing even though the account is gone.
- Records Google Play keeps independently. Purchase and billing history is managed by Google as part of your Google Play account, not by us, and is retained per Google's own policies.
- The deletion request itself. We keep the email correspondence used to verify and process your request for up to 90 days after completion, in case of a dispute, then delete it.
How long it takes
In-app deletion completes immediately. Email requests are acknowledged and completed within 30 days of receipt.
Questions about this process or our data handling can also be found in our Privacy Policy.
